James and I both love cinnamon ice cream, and the Cinnamon Vanilla from Phin & Phebes that we tried at Smorgasburg’s Ice Cream Day was frozen happiness in a cup. The rich vanilla base is the perfect platform to showcase the spicy, warm cinnamon flavors. The texture is just right too: perfectly smooth, with none of the graininess I’ve had in other artisanal cinnamon ice creams. Because it was so hot that day, the ice cream got just a little melty, which is my favorite way to eat it.
