Because Dr. Doolittle was one of my sister Leslie’s favorite characters growing up, I immediately identified this lovely necklace as a Luna Moth. You can find it in the serene small booth of Nancy Edwards at the new Urbanspace Meatpacking Market. Nancy’s collection features several species of moths as necklaces, rings, and teensy charms. She also has a line inspired by a scorpion tail. Yes, you read that right. You’d actually think it was just a cool pattern and texture without knowing the origin, but there you have it. Nancy’s designs are unique, delicate and beautifully made. Definitely check out her entire collection at the market!
