The Gowanus Girls market features crafts, designs and food made by women. To be clear, guys are welcome to come and enjoy the market too. It takes place in the enchanting Gowanus Grove, “a little slice of paradise in the middle of industrial Brooklyn.” Sure enough, we came to the canal and saw the twinkly lights and sweet lanterns hanging from the branches of the tall birch trees.
