Late Night 3rd Thursdays at Artists & Fleas in Chelsea Market

In case you haven’t heard, Artists & Fleas is back inside Chelsea Market for the season! Once again, they’ve created their own unique environment and style. I’ve heard people say that it feels like the Anthropologie store at the other end of the market, only with a whole lot more Brooklyn sprinkled on it. I love the Artists & Fleas markets, and I love what they have created once again inside Chelsea Market. They sent me this update:

Starting this Monday we will have another 5 new artists, designers and vintage collectors coming to show. But I especially wanted to introduce you to what is now a well-known Chelsea Market institution, Mohamed and Imports from Marrakesh. You’ll probably remember him from the earlier days of Chelsea Market when he held down a shop inside the market. He built a tremendous following and now he’s back and a part of the Artists & Fleas community. Pop by, have a tea and browse some wicked cool merch from Marrakech and beyond.

As well, I wanted to let you know of an exciting Late Night Shopping Series we start up this coming Thursday, October 18th from 7-10PM. The series, called 3rd Thursdays, brings a bit of our Brooklyn vibe to Chelsea Market for three Thursdays in Oct/Nov/Dec (Karaoke DJ, treats from the Dickson’s boys, champagne and deals from our participating vendors). It’s free and open to the public and always a good time! And, yes, this time around we’ve also got a pop-up record shop inside the market so there’s stuff for nostalgia freaks beyond vintage clothing from Casey Block of famed Greenpoint record shop EAT Records (daily 10:30AM-7PM).

So there you have it: the splendors of Brooklyn’s Artists & Fleas + the wonders of Morocco + Late Night Shopping in Chelsea! Really, could we ask for anything more?

The main entrance to Chelsea Market is on 9th Avenue between 15th & 16th Street. You can access Artists & Fleas directly from the 10th Avenue entrance, also between 15th & 16th Streets.
