READY SET SUMMER: Recycled, Sustainable, One-Of-A-Kind Artisanal Crafts

Ready Set Summer

NY Handmade Collective’s (NYHC) second edition of “READY SET SUMMER” puts a focus on recycled/sustainable one-of-a-kind artisanal crafts.

READY SET SUMMER, a unique, pop-up shopping experience and collaboration between NY Handmade Collective (NYHC) and Grand Bazaar NYC will kick off summer on Sunday, May 6th from 10:00 am – 5:30 at 100 West 77th Street and Columbus Avenue in Manhattan.

Shoppers will find a diverse selection of exceptional merchandise from nearly 40 vendors, including moleskin journals and notebooks featuring hand-drawn treasure maps with an ancient feel, and meticulously embellished, three-dimensional, vintage-style collage cards. Handcrafted, oil tanned and vegetable tanned leather items put an emphasis on craftsmanship. Fabulous fabrics and vintage trims are worked into hair accessories and fascinators. Ceramics play with color and organic forms. Amazing skincare products are natural, pure and organic.

NY Handmade Collective also takes great pride in our eco-friendly ,sustainable artisans and has chosen to highlight some of the outstanding items. “As April 22nd, Earth Day, is a short memory away it reminds us of the importance to shop brands throughout the year that do not contribute to water contamination or energy waste.  We hope visitors will find ways to incorporate more environmentally friendly products in their everyday lives”, said Sandrine Valentine, Events Director for NY Handmade Collective.
