Sweet, Big Eyed Kitties from The Strawberry NYC

Kitty Doll With Her Own Kewpie Doll, from Strawberry NYC

Kitty Doll With Her Own Kewpie Doll, from Strawberry NYC

How can you resist a basket of kittens? The fact is, you can’t. At Crafts on Columbus this past Saturday, I actually did resist the bright eyes looking up at me from The Strawberry Shop. But not for long. I walked by for a couple of steps, but then I turned around and started squeezing these adorable, handmade dolls.

The dolls are the handiwork of Beth Han. They come in several sizes. The smallest ones fit in the palm of your hand, and they also come with key rings so that you can carry them around with you at all times. The largest ones are perfect for snuggling.

There are kittens, some puppies, a blue bear, a panda, and a several other dolls. Some have bodies made of a different fabric, like the kitty wearing with the bunny pajamas. I laughed out loud at the kitty with her own kewpie doll (above). The Boston terrier killed me too – it’s the eyes, not to mention the little sailor.

You can go squeeze these sweet dollies for yourself this coming weekend at Crafts on Columbus, or visit The Strawberry NYC on Etsy. Beth will also be at the Renegade Brooklyn Pop Ups every Saturday in June in East River State Park.  Why even try to resist?http://marketsofnewyork.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=19573&action=edit
