Holiday Greens – Locally Grown in the Greenmarket


This is the busiest holiday weekend of them all! 22 day-long or weekend markets are popping up all over the city, along with the grand holiday markets and the ongoing flea and antiques markets, which are also wonderful places to look for unique gifts.

I get some of my best gifts in my local greenmarket! Genuine rooftop honey, artisanal jams and chutneys, jars of gourmet pickles, and even sachets made from Long Island lavender. If you want to send someone a turnip for any reason, you can get one of those too. Also, you can pick up the freshest trees, wreaths, and garlands, all locally grown within 250 miles of the city!
