President Ronald Reagan established National Ice Cream Day in 1984 with Joint Resolution 298 (thanks, Wikipedia!), making him the one president to bring the entire country together over a common idea that ice cream is creamy and delicious.

We now celebrate this national holiday in July each year when we’re all melting ourselves from the heat and humidity. The markets are fully on board with National Ice Cream Day! We have at least 4 ice cream events going on this weekend. So grab a spoon and go taste fine artisanal ice cream all over town!
