Union Square Greenmarket: Union Square is the largest farmers market in the city. It’s generally filed with shoppers, and it’s always wonderful to see it coming out of its deep freeze this time of year. Go shopping for your fresh eggs, pussywillows and daffodils for Easter! Chelsea Market: If you love food to eat and to take home with you, take a slow stroll through Chelsea Market. On a crowded weekend like this one, if you see something you want to eat, stop and eat it! Plenty of sweets and savories for every palate. East Village Outdoor Market: This market launched last fall to raise funds for student programs. It is now under new management, and it has moved out onto the sidewalk of East 12th Street. Gallery La La Artisan Market GLLAM: If you’re visiting New York City, you are going to stop in Soho. Pompeii Artisan Market on Bleecker Street: Newly opened for the season, this outdoor market is always a welcome addition to the weekends in the Village. PS 321 Flea Market: Although this classic flea market has been around for decades in the heart of Park Slope, it’s time to stop passing it by and check out the new vibe. The Market NYC: This market always has a great collection of New York designers and artists, and the current group is better than ever. Greenflea: With the improving temperatures, this classic flea market on the Upper West Side brings more vendors to the large outdoor school yard. It has a nice balance of flea market vendors, higher end antiques and handmade artisans.
