Come see LIttle Bear Dog Apparel at the Craftstravaganza on June 25, 2016!

Come see the amazing designs by Little Bear Dog Apparel – and many more artisans too at the Craftstravaganza!

Summer Craftstravaganza Saturday, June 25, 11am-6pm West 17th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues

Summer is fast approaching, and what better way to celebrate than with a craft party in the streets? Join us on Saturday, June 25, 2016 as Fair Lady Markets (formerly Two Fair Ladies) hosts its annual outdoor Craftstravaganza in support of the Museum School! Featuring over 30 indie vendors, the market will offer shoppers a wonderful selection of handmade wares including jewelry, greeting cards, art, beauty products, clothing, and gifts for kids and furkids!

Fair Lady Markets is a one-woman show fully dedicated to curating and bringing you the best artisans this city has to offer. Each vendor is handpicked so whether you’re shopping for family, friends or just yourself, you’ll be guaranteed to find a product that is unique and unlike anything you’ve seen before.

We all know no Craftstravaganza could be complete (or live up to its grand name!) without some amazing activities to match all the great shopping! With that in mind, Fair Lady Markets will be bringing you some awesome entertainment to help you soak up the sun:

  1. Indulge in relaxing mindfulness exercises taught by a licensed NYC therapist.

  2. Satisfy your sweet tooth with all-natural cookies from Mr. Cory’s Cookies!

  3. Meet your new (furry) best friend! We’re thrilled the NYC Animal Care and Control‘s adoption van will be joining us.

  4. Get your groove on with free Samba lessons. Be sure to let your hair down when we start our own parade!

  5. Find your inner DIY-er at a craft make-and-take table. Bring home some new art for your home!

  6. And much more!

Admission to this one-day only event is free and will take place from 11am to 6pm right outside the Museum School itself, located at 333 West 17th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues.

And the best part? Proceeds go to benefit the Museum School in Manhattan, a public High School dedicated to educating their students by utilizing the rich resources of New York City’s premier historic, artistic, scientific, and cultural institutions. So shop, dance, relax and create some crafts for a great cause!

The vision that sustains the New York City Museum School is the belief that extensive use of experiential learning in the museums and cultural sites of the city afford our students a rigorous educational curriculum rooted in the fundamental excitement of learning.  Outside of the isolated classroom, when students experience the real things that exist in this world in the form of the primary resources available to them in this rich city, they have a much better chance of comprehending the value of history, language, science and mathematics in everyday life and throughout the history of civilization.
