Noli Noli Handmade toys are lovingly handcrafted from beautiful upcycled and regional wood fashioned into whimsical, sturdy and adorable toys. This penguin broke my heart at the Spring Made in NYC Fair last weekend.
The Noli Noli collection features distinctive eyes, which were inspired from the evening catch in the fishing village of Noli Noli along the Ligurian coast of Italy, one of my very favorite parts of the world.

You can meet and fondle this penguin in person (you don’t get to write a sentence like that very often!) at the Prospect Heights Craft Fair this Saturday, April 13, 2013 and the Brooklyn Renegade on June 22 and 23rd. Later this fall, they will be at Green Meadow Waldorf School Fall Fair on October 12, 2013. And more to come!
