LIC Flea & Food: This great outdoor market is host to a rich collection of vintage and flea market vendors, handmade craft artisans and local food makers. It has a great vibe, and it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon browsing, shopping and eating. 10am – 6pm,  5-25 46th Avenue, Long Island City, Queens

New Amsterdam Market: This monthly market features a gorgeous collection of regional food purveyors: wild food, fish and seafood, produce and fruit, breads and grains, dairy meats, regional grocery, sweets and confections, and more. It’s a good reason to visit the Seaport this weekend. 11AM – 5PM, South Street between Beekman Street & Peck Slip at the Old Fulton Fish Market, Manhattan

Saturday & Sunday, June 21 & 22, 2014

Antiques Garage: LAST DAYS! After a great and long run, the Antiques Garage is closing its doors on this venue in Chelsea on June 29, 2014. The vendors will be dispersing to the Annex on West 25th Street and the Hell’s Kitchen Flea, but for this weekend and next, you can still enjoy a final stroll through the garage venue.  9AM – 5PM, 112 West 25th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, Manhattan

Sunday, June 22, 2014

East 92nd Street Greenmarket: OPENING DAY! It’s the first market of the season for this Upper East Side neighborhood! The small but perfect selection of farmers will be bringing everything you need for a week’s worth of fresh, local fare, as well as composting, recycling collection and composting. Now through November. 9AM – 4PM, 1st Avenue between n 92nd and 93rd Streets, Manhattan

Astoria Flea: I went to the Astoria Flea last weekend, and I fell in love with this market. The venue at Kaufman Astoria Studios back lot is the perfect size for three rows of vendors. I liked how the market is segmented into food, handmade and vintage sections. The variety and quality are outstanding. The market has been extended through Labor Day! 10AM – 6PM, Kaufman Astoria Studios, 36th Street between 34th and 35th Avenues, Astoria, Queens

Ridgewood Market: A new addition to the burgeoning Queens market scene, the Ridgewood market brings together local artisans and vintage sellers. It’s taking place in a beer hall, so they’re advertising food and alcohol too! 11AM – 6PM, Gottscheer Hall, 657 Fairview Avenue, Ridgewood, Queens

Smith Street Sunday Fun Day: Who doesn’t love 8 blocks of carefully curated crafts vendors from the East Coast, food and music? Spend the day with the neighbors out on the street of BOCOCA (BOerum Hill, CObble Hill, CArroll Gardens)! 11AM – 6PM, Smith Street, Brooklyn

HEY LA: Artists & Fleas is in your neighborhood this weekend! Check them out!

The Coney Island USA Mermaid Parade is on Saturday, June 21, starting at 1PM! Come on out and shake your fish tails!
